SAS-01 body is hanging to dry… Day 52: Sanding the body with 220, 320 and 400. Followed by a double pumice stone powder treatment, applied with alcohol and shellack.
I also made some abalone inlay with pieces I’ve cut from a shell which Tineke has brought to me from an exotic island on the atlantic ocean.
Finally, during the following days I applied a finishing coating of 4 layers of danish oil. Subsequently treated with 000 steel wool and drying ….
